It's Been a Year

The Maine Contemporary Archives Collaborative formed in April 2020 to support local efforts to document life in Maine during the COVID-19 pandemic. This exhibit provides a sampling from archival collections from around the state documenting the story of our past year. Click on a thumbnail image to view an item in more detail.

In March of 2020...

our lives changed...

we had to stay apart...

and we looked a little different...

we missed loved ones and suffered loss.

But we also found new ways to learn...

connect...

have fun...

find hope...

create and reflect...

and help one another.
