Torrential Rains Overwhelming Culverts and Storm Drains

This video is of the culvert at the end of our driveway, during torrential rains (2" plus?) on July 9, 2021. We've never seen water spurting like this before - it was due to the high volume and hydraulic pressure buildup with the water level being above the level of the culvert opening. The roadside was washed out along many driveways and needed the City to come do significant repairs. We also lost a fair amount of our driveway material, which we scraped from our neighbor's driveway the next day!
